Vesta stainless steel valves: designed for the food world

The dairy sector, as well as the whole world of food processing, is subject to rigorous health and hygiene regulations regarding the safety of production.

A priority also perceived by manufacturers of pneumatic components such as Vesta Automation, which for over 35 years has been designing special valves and cylinders with components in stainless steel AISI304 and AISI316-L, for machinery subject to intensive and frequent cleaning, and resistant to corrosive environments with high levels of salinity, such as the dairy industry or industrial meat processing.

In particular, the Vesta pneumatic valves usedin the food sector, available both in the manual / mechanical versions and in the electrically operated variants, they are assembled with materials suitable for aggressive environments: with spools, spacers and contrast springs in stainless steel. The special seals in Viton / FKM and HNBR allow the valves to work at high and low temperatures, with a range that can go from -35 ° up to + 110 °. Furthermore, the surface treatments, from Niploy with antibacterial anodizing, which guarantee decontamination during the process phases, as well as the ability to work with fluids such as oxygen and nitrogen, and use FDA-compliant lubrication greases.

The Vesta Automation production range for the food processing world includes, in addition to steel actuators, pneumatic valves and solenoid valves and high flow air handling units, with sizes up to 2 inches.
